What is the correct bracket for a 1968 4-bbl powerglide: F4 9797415, 9792242, or something else?

PN: F2 9795715 should be a 2 bbl.

In '68 there were two 4bbl throttle brackets used. When GM changed the intake manifold mid-year (May) they also started using another bracket

The throttle bracket is the same for 350-4bbl/TH350 and 400-4bbl/TH400 Firebirds. The TH350 used a cable kickdown, the TH400 used an electrical switch shown in my photo, which mounts to a separate, curved bracket. The kickdown cable used the square hole in the throttle bracket for an attachment point.

Also, does anyone has a pic of the powerglide kickdown bracket on the intake?

The F4 bracket is correct for the 4bbl Qjet.

Take a look at this thread for the kickdown switch and mounting bracket.

It attaches to the drivers rear carb mounting bolt.

You also need the correct throttle arm that bolts to the driver's side linkage.
