Having some problems. Engine rebuilt and old carb removed. installed 4 bbl holley. Thus they (machine shop) installed a 2106 Edelbrock manifold. When I removed the drivetrain decided to keep car close to original. This is a driver. So I had to modify the rear compressor mount in order to fit the intake manifold. The compressor has been on but isn’t plumbed or charged. So 4 years later, I have to get these AC parts out of my garage and installed. The problem is that there is an AC manifold on the back of the compressor used to connect the 2 lines off the compressor, which is not fitting because of clearance with the rear support. Does anyone have a photo under the hood of the a 67 FB with factory AC? Clueless about the routing of hoses. This Original Air compressor has the same footprint as the old compressor but the intake manifold is the problem. As I see it, I can try to fabricate or modify this part, or find another one, though I’m hesitant to alter the original piece, leave it alone and live without air- it’s a convertible, or try and find some one with the same problem and hear about their journey.
Thanks
Joe
