Hi guys (and girls!), new to the group- does anyone have the Pontiac letters on the deck lid? I have been looking for a few good images and they are pretty hard to find. Was this rare, or just easier to repaint without them? Thanks-

I believe every 1st Gen was built with those P-O-N-T-I-A-C letters on the Trunk lid. There may be some exception but I can't think of one. I have not looked but I believe even the TA's had the letters under the raised spoiler.
Edit: I looked at the 1968 Sales Manual and the letters are shown as part of the Firebird's exterior styling. I'll assume '67 and '69 are the same.

Oh, of course. My memory recalled the letters but I certainly got their location wrong on the '69s. Gettin' old.
