Any recommendations on a good fuel filter for my 67 Firebird 400? Not concerned about looks, just as long as it's a good fuel filter, thanks!

Factory on had a filter in the carburetor inlet. If you want an external one, any number of choices. All require cutting a line somewhere to install.

NICE!!! The filter in the carb is a PITA to service. I add a BIG AC Delco inline filter to the rubber gas hose where it makes the jump from the frame to the engine. EZPZ to rig that up. The big filter is so good you will never have to service the carb filter. If your gas tank is clean the big filter will outlast you.

A quick check at Advance Auto shows the GF796. Auto Zone has some too like the FF756DL. The only thing that matters is that you have a barbed hose fitting at each end compatible with your fuel line size. Usually it is 3/8". Beware that some have screw fittings or quick connects, and won't work. Any brand is good, Motorcraft, Car Quest, Duralast, AC Delco. I kind of like this Carquest 86129 with both fittings out the bottom. That makes it easy to mount it out of the way.
