does any one know if there are rebuilt parts for these shifters ? if not how hard are they to take apart to clean them up an grease them ? an to put backe together ?

You can also send your shifter to "Hurst" and they will rebuild/restore it for you. Just do a search on Google or Yahoo and you can find them.
