In the December 2004 vol 24, NO.12, the article " My Pontiac and Me " features a pearl moss green 1968 firebird. I will be painting my 1968 firebird in a few weeks and love the colour of the firebird in the article. If some one knows the owner or the paint code i would greatly appreciate their help. thx

I tried to find the information for you, but is does not seem to exist. Perhaps the paint code was “spec” or “special” meaning a custom color (I once had a pink firebird with this paint code). During my research, I found an article that stated if a customer wanted any GM color available that year, they could order it for their car. When the factory put on the body tag, it would read spec, special.

You could take the article down to your paint store and they can computer match it. I take cars down and have them matched for touch up and repairs.
