Has anyone used a frame rail mounted transmission cooler? I was just wondering if they are worth the money? I'm trying to avoid cluttering the surface area of my radiator, and was looking for a feasible solution. I have noticed a few FGR'S on this site that have nice set up's that don't look cluttered. (How do you do it?) I just thought I'd throw this one out there.
You hit the nail right on the head Banshee, Efficency was what I was looking for. I was wondering myself how efficent they would be especially without a constant flow of air moving across the coils. (Unless you are constantly in motion, I myself like to stop once in a while.) So frame rail coolers probably wouldn't serve too much purpose in my case. Any Input or thoughts on this subject are still welcomed.
