Thanks to Loren, I received these great condition Rally II rims (perfectly blasted and epoxy prepped) and was able to re-paint, add Terry and Dougs caps, and added new chrome rings.

Thanks to all three of you for allowing me to get the right rims on my 68, at a mere fraction of the cost of Ebay prices. I spent less than one third of the cost of ordering complete new ones from companies offering them.

Nash your wheel's look very nice, good job. What size trim rings did you use, and what company did you get them from? I like the way those trim rings look on them. I'm painting a set for my conv., but still have them in primer. Hopefully get them done soon. Take care..

I would also like to know where you got the trim rings. I plan on restoring my 15" ralleys some day, if I ever get time to continue working on my bird. I wish I could move along like you are Nash, you have really made a lot of progress on your car. Looking good.
I used 2 part epoxy made by PPG #DP50LF with harder #DP402LF it cost around $55 a quart. I think it's only avaliable from industrial paint suppliers. I also used it on the wheels I have on my car they came out the same as John's
Nash, congrats and great work on the wheels! sorry to say tho, you got incorrect rings. John's classic wheelart has the correct rings, caps, and lugnuts. However, only a FGF fanatic would notice the difference.
What!!?? I have some old original rings and these new ones look the same, except for the outer lip being slightly wider. I bought the stainless steel rings from them, not the chrome ones the link pointed to.
