How are the wiper arms removed?

Also, how is the lower windshield chrome strip removed?

By holding my mouth just right, I can remove them with a skrewdriver, but a wiper arm removal tool might be a better choice.



Let the lip snatch the edge of the wiper, and hold the wiper arm against the tool. This unloads the spring, and you lift the wiper off.



Remove the cowl, and you'll see the screws that hold the lower chrome. The screws under the fenders can be trickey.

Corrigan , you can probably see a little clip under ,its supposed to hold them on..., hold that out ,pry with screwdriver ,carefully...might want to put a triple folded rag under first!

Grab that little metal tab and yank it out. Then the arms pop off. Then you re-insert the metal tabs before you pop them back on. Believe me. The tabs pull right out. Others will disagree.
