Hello. I was reviewing my PHS documentation and don't see an explanation for a few of the options. Thought I'd see if folks here would know or if I need to go back to PHS.
Here are the codes: ================================================= 571 - H/Restraints - upper seat belt in headliner? 241 - Adv. Assn. Col - what is this? 354 - 4 speed trans. - M20 or M21? 554 - custom trim - parchment int. anything else special here? 241 - optional loc - what is this?
I just noticed that I have 241 down twice and that is what the phs doc. has. The adv.assn.col was a $10.00 fee and the "optional loc" doesn't have a fee - not sure what these are.
I'm wondering if adv.assn.col is the steering column lock (that connects to the transmission). No idea what optional loc is.
ADV ASSN is advertising association, OPTIONAL LOC is if the car is delivered to a storage lot or other physical location than the purchasing dealer. Neither has anything to do with options on your car.
The steering column/shifter lock was a standard antitheft feature for '69.
