Changed over to 69 single caliper style ft's. New mntg brkt's, caliper's, rotors's, and hoses. After applying and releasing pedal, RH rotor will barely turn. Repeted a few times. LH side works great. Caliper sits alittle different then LH side. Possible bad "new" mntg brkt. Knuckle looks fine? Any thoughts or ideas before i try another caliper. I'm leary of the 67-8's 4 piston combo valve system.
If the caliper sits different, the bracket might be bent. Also check the caliper orings where the pins go thru and make sure they're well lubed and the pins and sleeves slide well, and orings are intact. Try removing the pins and see if it becomes unstuck.
Quite possibly a faulty brake hose. The inside of the hose could be collapsed,or the bracket that clamps around the hose could be clamped too tight, keeping pressure to the caliper.Try opening the bleeder and see what happens,if the rotor turns easy, there`s a problem with the hose.Try the brake again to see if it is still sticking,if it still is, take something to loosen the clamp on the hose and repeat trying the brake to eliminate this part.
Refresh my memory. Should'nt the button on the distribution valve push in while the system is sealed? And does it have to be open to bleed system? Thanks, mike
