He claims his kit with 11" rotors will fit into a 14" Rally II wheel. This contradicts almost everything I have heard before. But, depending on his kit could it be possible? The price is decent.
I bought the front and rear kits from Matt's Classic Bowties (mattsclassicbowties.com) that contained 11" rotors. When I received them, I fit them in my 14" Rally II's (disc brake wheels, there's a difference!) and they seem to fit just fine. dfbrakes looks like they sell about the same stuff for about the same price, but Matt's does not require you to assemble bearings, etc.
My $0.02.

I recieved my front and rear kit from DFBrakes last month and have just installed the rotors (see pix on link)I set the 14" wheel on but have not tried to tighten up the nuts....everything looked very close. I'll be home in a few hours, let me bolt one up and see. I sure hope so as well. I'll post later tonight.
He sent the wrong booster, got that fixed up, was missing the rear brackets, waiting on those now. His email communication is not so good but seems to do what he say's he will do.
I just looked at my rims and found that I have 4 different codes (of course). At least 3 of the 4 appear to be the type for factory disc brakes: JA, JT, HL, HN. I'd be curious to know this also when you test the fit. (Look under the trim rings next to the valve stem). Did you ask for the factory style booster and get the corvette one instead?
Ok, here's the skinny...I have the 14" KS code rally ii wheels apparently from a 69. I have uploaded a photo on my link (someone tell me how to just add one to the thread reply please!!!) showing the minor issue. The tabs on the bracket marked 1 and 2 were slighly out of "square". I bent the upper one straight ant it ceased rubbing on the secondary ridge on the inside of the wheel. I left the lower one unbent for the photo (you can see the angle "A" plus where it rubbed.) When I bent it square the wheel turned fine with about 1/8 inch clearance.
I will take my grinder to the end and give it a slight touch and should gain another 1/16 to 1/8 clearance min.
Not sure what the inside of yours look like but if you want me to further measure the offset of the ridge I can do so, but likely my procedure in straigtening the brackets should do it.
They originally sent me the small diameter deep booster (assume it to be a vette booster?) I wanted the delco style of course.
By the way Miles, are you going for all 4 or just the fronts? The rears came with integrated parking brake setup with cables to run up front to the pedal. Seemed a good deal
I am thinking just front will be enough. I like the delco booster, too. But the other one might work better, who knows? Thanks for letting us know how this is working out.
I see a note on the following site about KS wheels:
Yes, that's where I determined they were from a '69. I'm restoring mine as close to orig. as possible therefore wanted the Delco. I'll update all on the full assembly of the DFBrakes kit once it is all in and verified.
I know for a fact the rims on mine are original and they are JC coded (actually now have two sets). I have the 4 piston calipers on the front and drum rears. If you have the twopiston calipers, than you would need the JK's.
Here is a link to the wheel codes, but I do not think it is 100% accurate.
Miles, If the setup is going to work on a 14" wheel at all I am pretty sure that your 4 different codes JA, JT, HL, HN will all work because backspacing for those wheels was meant for disc brakes originally. JA and JT definitely.
That's good news. If you need a place for some pics, let me know. I can put them up on the site below. OOPS - not in my sig for some reason: HALF Website
I can probably do it on my site by opening another "folder", but thanks, (I have bookmarked your site at any rate)
Just got back from the U-sandblast place, goin downstairs to do some work on the beast, gonna see about putting the heater boxes in etc, sunny day so can open the garage door and enjoy....
