General word from friends in the area is no on good body shops in San Angelo. Do have a good ref. but he is 3 hours away but did nice work and I can point you to vids for proof. Let me know if I can Help.
Rob I wish I had a goto guy that I would recommend but no such luck. Tr703 “Tony” had some work done in the metroplex, you could ask him who did it. Other than that there is a really high-end shop, Dusold enterprises I think. Or.. if you have the body work done don’t underestimate Maco, Earl Sheibb, whatever if you are on a budget. 90% of how it will look is the body and prep work. Also, I had a spot repair done on my T/A at a Dallas Service King and was very pleased. It was a cash deal and very reasonable I thought.
Yes I know that I am replying to a post which has been dead a long time but....Dusold??? Yes they are a very high end shop but man they are proud of their work and are about the most expensive shop you could find in the Dallas area. If you can afford them then power to you.
I have always wondered about Jeff Lilly Restorations? We have a plan to retire in the San Antonio / Hill Country area and it would be nice to have the money and a car to send to a good shop.
That's what you do to your car so it will make it to and from work for another 15 years.

Seems like a dead forum but what the heck, I am in Midland TX and all the body shops around here only work on insurance panel replacements, looking for someone or shop not too far away and not too expensive to strip the paint, fix some old spots from previous owner, properly align the front clip, paint and install weatherstripping.
I drive by Jeff Lilly often, but you would never know it was there if you didn't know the address. Interesting thing for me is that I've yet to meet someone locally who has used them.

I am looking for a paint and body shop to have my 69 painted. We are located in Frisco near Dallas so I need to keep the shop closer by since Texas is a HUGE state.
