I will probabally be ordering a quarter skin from Brown's on Monday. The 69 cramaro skin is $89 and the firebird is $149.
Other than the gills/no gills in the front of the wheelwell and cut out bird for the marker light, is there any other differences? The guy at Brown's said that he thinks that the bumer wrap around are also different.
But from door jam to the area before the bird cut out, are the quarters the same?
there is no other difference. however, I would buy the firebird and save you some grief. the metal however looks the same is different in gauge size only slightly and when you cut and weld the patch the warpage is greater than an original and it really is alot harder to work with. believe me the savings will be your downfall. do it right and you will be soo much happier in the long run. It is interesting to note that the roof for a 69 camero will fit the 67 and 68 firebird without any problems. good luck with the project
