Hey new here.. I am currently restoring my 68 350 Coupe Firebird ..
Can anyone help me find a diagram of the dash and gauges.. I bought the car a few years back but just got it not too long ago because I turned 16 about a year ago. I had a problem with the floor pans so it wasn't drivable. I am currently restoring as well as customizing my car. Any help appreciated
Try this site first, it has a good selection of exploded views from the service paerts manual of the whole car. Once you have absorbed that specific questions can be fielded here, but try and do a word search first on the tech site, as a lot of questions have been previously answered.
First off welcome to FGF.What exactly do you need? I can send you scans of the 68' wiring manual if you like.Let me know if that will help and PM me your email address.

Welcome. It's hard to say where to start first becuse there are usually so many issues it's overwhelming as to where to begin.
It involves spending, and the first spending I would do is spend a lot of time combing the car with a fine tooth comb. You might want to start out by pulling the interior. That way you can better assess the chassis. Also, look every welded seam over carefully, including removing the cowl and inspecting as deep inside as you can.
I took a click at your site. I'm almost wondering whether or not I have heard of your band, maybe on the raido where they play 2 new bands and people vote on them, or maybe on the county cable channel, whereby they play some videos in the music genere of my choice.
Even though I'm just on this side of 50, I have worn thin of typical "classic rock," and my listening interest includes what seems to be labled as extreme alternative: A couple of my favorites are Hatebreed, Soil, and Nonpoint. Another one that a man my age isn't supposed to listen to it is Kitty. Of coures, do traditional old fasion listening such as hair/metal bands.
Anyway, go over the car, take pictures of problem areas, and make a list of questions to ask. You'll find plenty of help here.
Basically what we are looking at here is my fuel gauge.. it was disconnected when i bought the car. The wires were cut as well. All i truthfully need is a good diagram. Everything else is like you said me fine combing through it.
The floor pans were rusted out .. etc . took care of those issues.I would also like to know what the name is of the two panels in the rear.. I know of the inner kick panel. But which is the one that holds the ash tray and which is the one that covers the window. Everything else is already been taken care or is on its way.
In all honesty I'm 16 and this is my first car. But my family is all about cars. Grandpa won grand nationals back in the day. Dad owned quite a few. I have quite a few old cars that are in showroom condition. Not mine, but you get the point.
Classic (among others) has the arm rest parts , metal pieces and the cover material....check thier website...mind you that coupes and verts are different on part of it... web page if you have a coupe there`s three pieces ea side , the metal piece that goes in the corner , the lower and upper parts at the arm rest (of course if you only need the arm rest its only one piece, think the metal piece w/o cover material is about $50-55)...not sure if you need all three , or two or only one..?
there are wiring diagrams too , on EBay often , but a few have them on their web sites.....I only have a copy in my book , which currently is loaned out... you may want to put a separate post for "gas gauge wiring" wanted..or wiring diagram wanted so its easily recognized by the ones that have it online for 68...
Send me your email address and i'll scan the complete wiring manual for you. Here is the center section.Hope you can see what you are looking for here:
