Rad and under seat bushings not a problem but the bushings at the firewall are giving me trouble I have the front sheet metal off the car so I can see into the caged nut area.The cage seems to be in bad shape, the nut will move, I moved it about 10 degrees and the back of the cage is bending away, but not wrecked yet I have been soaking it with penatrating oil since the fall, any ideas or help would be very appreciated.

Try heating the nut with a torch,you may have to hold the nut from spinning with a pry bar.

Also, try tighning the bolt slightly first before trying to remove it. That is how I got mine off.

heating up shoud work if not if you have a small compressor tap the bolt lightly with a zip gun the vibration should be able to break out the rust wath out if you heat up since you soak up the bolts with oil. If it's starting to untight for each turn tight it back 1/2 of turn
