From reading previous post it appears the cast impellor is better than the stamped. Does anybody have recommendations on where to get a water pump with the cast impellor?

Summit Racing sells the Flow Kooler pump which I have used on three different High Perf. engines. It has an aluminum housing and the cast impeller. Make sure you use cad plated bolts - and try not to use stainless bolts against the aluminum if you can help it.

I got mine from O'Rielly's. Cardone brand. Only $30. Works great. While you have it off, don't forget to do the divider plate "thing".

Can any one confirm either an O'reilly's or Summit flow cooler pump that has the 4" depth 11 bolt? I found the one that the parts place gave me is a 4-1/2" one and has caused me the pully issues.

I wonder if they'll take the wrong on ethey sold me back after I painted it?

No the wrong one I purchased was a 4.5" stamped impeller. Sorry.

I got mine from Car Quest. 4", cast impeller. Had the guy talk to someone at the wharehouse to visually check for the cast impeller before they sent it to the store. I have an early 69 set up on mine.

I'll stop be the parts store tonight and try again.
