does anyone have a pic of winshield molding clips for the upper molding.i had to fix some rust on the front edge of my roof now i dont know where to put the clips.i dont know if its important or not. thanks, tony
Maybe somebody will have a pic of the channel before w/s installation. If not, next time my car is uncovered I can check how many clips there are. Not sure when that'll be but I'll post it at that time.
I could not get a picture to show any details so here is what I measured. I only measured free hand with a tape measure so these may not be blue print accurate but they will work. There are seven studs across the top. I measured the distance across the top inside the channel as 49-1/2". The studs are 1/2" down in the channel measured from the roof down to center of the stud. Starting from the drivers side. Number one on the drivers side is 2-1/2" from channel to center of stud. Number two on the drivers side is 9-1/2" from channel to the center of stud. Number three on the drivers side is 17-5/8" from channel to the center of the stud. Number four (the center stud) is 25" from the channel to the center of the stud. Now moving to the passenger side. Number one on the passengers side is 1-3/4" from channel to the center of the stud. Number two on the passenger side is 9-1/8" from the channel to the center of the stud. Number three on the passenger side is 17-7/16" from the channel to the center of the stud. The measurement to the center stud from the passenger side is 24-1/2". I hope this helps. If you need any additional information let me know.
