Is there a vin# other than the one on the dash. Does anybody duplicate the one on dash. The body man lost it during the restro.

The only one I've been able to find on mine is the one on the top of the firewall under the cowl panel (right side.) I don't think you can duplicate the VIN tag (legally.) You may have to get a replacement VIN from your states DMV.

there is also one under the heater box. It can not be seen unless you remove the cover.

isn't there suppose to be some on the rear quarters some where? like in the drip rails?

I heard that there may be one under the cowl,but not sure rear quarters. I know I can get one from DMV, but I hate to look at that hole in the dash.

I would have him hunt high and low for the original. As it's almost irraplaceable.
