Thanks. I won't be replacing my sender, but I will need to remove it completely. I am hoping there is room to add another hose connection, or maybe I need to get a sender with a return line. I am adding TBI to the car and have a new fuel line to run plus that modification to do.
Do the new senders work better than the stock one? Mine reads way over full and can go from the F to 1/4 tank at the drop of a hat. Was thinking about replacing the sending unit and tank.
In my case the new one works much better because the old one shorted out and when I turned on the key the gauge would go all the way past full out of sight. New sender runs about $50.
