I agree 150% we need more companies to start reproing fenders for 69s.Camaros and Firebirds are exactly the same car but yet you can`t find fenders for A firebird anywhere,it really ticks me off that you can find all kinds of parts for Camaros and nothing for Birds.It just doesn`t make sense.

The reaso why we 9-boys are left out is that the numers are so limited--you know, birds were always the stepchildren in the corral, and our 9's are the red headed step children. Simply, our numbers are so low, that the manafacturers claim it isn't cost effective to reproduce some of the 9's parts. Whenever you go anywhere that old iron gathers, notice the lack of 9's? My factory 400 hardtop--a real one, wearing chrome bezels in the grills, not all the fake ones without chrome bezels--is doomed to wear a bastard bumper emblem. What about a rear plate bracket? Can't even find one on eBay. Mine is in pathetic shape; some day it's gonna take a crap.
the reason they wont reproduce them is cause there are too many cheap people that want their parts for nothing.i remember the day people would pay 1,000.00 for a rusty 400 hood.now they have trouble getting 379.00 for a new one.it cost 400,000.00 to set the machinery up to mass produce such parts.why dont somebody on the board shell that kind of money out and make them?heck,i spent 2 years trying to get a 69 t/a hood made of steel and they all laughed at me.if anybody needs good new body parts for their 69 bird there are nos ones out there.and if anybody needs a new 69 tail panel i have one.the only problem is nobody wants to pay for it......
