I' m getting rid of the Camaro spoiler, and putting the Pontiac letters back on the deck lid. I got the letters, but they didn' t come with any kind of nuts. What came on these originally or what alternatives are y' all using. I found a couple different ones at Rick' s, but don' t know which ones to use. They have push pins and self threading.

I like the push pin but either will work. The trick is getting the right size. I like to go to a dealer parts department because they have them loose and can fit them for you. In my opinion, less Camaro parts on a Firebird the better so HATS OFF TO YOU!

Are you going to fill the holes on your old decklid or buy a new one?

Thanks Jim. I' ll give the dealer a shot. I like seeing what I' m buying in person if possible. I keep forgeting about the dealerships. That' s where I got my washers for my motor mounts.

John, my deck lid is in good shape, with no rust, so I plan on welding the holes up. Maybe putting a piece of brass on the back side of the holes while filling them in. Plus my PONTIAC holes are already there, don' t know if they are on the new ones.
