Just completed a repaint of my trunk interior with Plasti-coat code 502 trunk paint. Did I see something on here a while ago about finishing it with a couple coats of clear laquer? What type of laquer?

How about Plasti-coat Clear so that you are sure it's compatible with the spatter?

Make sure that the spatter has absolutely dried out before you clear coat Jimbo as the spatter is water based

Thanks Blue. I will follow your lead on that.It seems as though this splatter paint takes forever to dry.

If you are getting any sunshine there in Edmonton then park the car outside and open up the trunk... it'll speed up the drying. Mine took a week as the weather was not great when I did it.
