I have a 69 firebird 3 speed auto w/ an open read end...i'm looking to install a 4 speed. wat type would be the best for me and do i need to change anything other than the trans.. i new to this

Best to shop this board or Classical Pontiac or Performance Years bulletin boards or e-Bay for a complete changeover.

Piecing this together piece by piece, along with a rebuilt Muncie 4 speed, & nice OR rebuilt factory Hurst shifter & linkage & everything else, will easily set you back $1300-$2000.
