Well, that basicly depends on what your car's motor is built into. 3.42's out to work well, but let me know what set-up your running, and if you plan on going street cruising or straight drags. I have 3.23's in mine, and I'm swaping them for a set of 3.73's I have laying around because mine's not a driver anymore. 3.42's should work well though.

Thanks......... I'm just building a really stout street driver. I won't be racing it, but I want it there if I need it! The 400 is pushing around 500 horses. Turbo 400 tranny. I was trying to decide between a 3:73 and a 3:55, when I was on the phone with the gear shop, they recommended a 3:42. Basically, I've built a 12 bolt rear end and just wondered if I had a big enough gear.
