i have a cam, but no idea what brand or type it is, so i was told i needed experts to id it for me. that is why i came straight here!!!

this is what i know...
the end is stamped with ...L243 and also 931481
by the distributor gear its stamped USA
by the other end is stamped 1805
the dist end has blue paint where it says USA and the other end has red paint where it is satmped 1805.

Can' t tell you who made it, but if you just want to know the lift, you can take a pair of micrometers, or even a cheap set of verniers, and figure it out. Just take the measurement of the highest point on the cam, subtract the base circle, and mult. by 1.5. To get the duration, you would probably have to have it in an engine, and use a degree wheel.
