have trouble getting my dash pad off, and my manual dosent say anything about it. I got the screws up front, but there seems to be sumthing inside there thats keepng it on. ANY help is greatly appreciated, since i havenmt been able to get it off since ive owned the car
Did not remove mine myself , but had a shop do it. Saw what they did after the fact. They took out entire dash ,took off steering wheel, to get to all screws , also the pieces on the sides are 'stuck' into pillars at door jamb. I had the replacement dash pad already there , it helped to check where the old is attached. Radio was still in its place after they took out dash. All back now so I cannot check , but if you still have problems email me I can ask shop what they did! Bjorn bsefeldt@mhinc.com
Just took mine off. There are 4 nuts under the dash that have to come off. It is best to remove glove boc, instrument panel and radio/ashtray/AC vent. Once these 4 nuts are removed, the pad comes off easily. Also, there is a post on the front sides that snaps into place. Pops right out.
