Photoshopped Camaro concept into a TA. I like this one better than the Camaro one. Needs a little more work but its a start. Anyone listening out there at GM,,,, here is an idea!
it IS the Camaro, but digitally changed....looks better than NOT changed... the mid section up front should in my mind be more pronounced...but otherwise looks good
Nice work Joe, must compliment your talent to do so. I personally think the 4th gens had the looks to expand on.Those nostrilled birds were bada$$.If i had the money i'd buy one. That Camaro looks like a mustang wannabe. They should have went with the Chris Horton retro concept.Looks like Mopar got it somewhat right with the retro Challenger IMO.

Does anyone find it odd that the big car companies keep going back to the basics? Perhaps they have finally realized that if it's not broken, don't fix it. (Just Improve It...)
Nice work Joe…ever think about working for GM? IMHO design still doesn’t capture the essence of a muscle car. I think what GM & Ford are missing is the character. Hard lines out of soft curves… The perception of muscle.. Impossible to describe but immediately recognizable when one see it.
Some examples (MO); Mopar is getting it right or at least closer to right. The Solstice has “it” - the new GTO doesn’t. Never did. And the Solstice isn’t positioned as a “muscle car”. The Viper has “it” – even if you took the V10 away – just the way the car looks, the way it stands. The new Mustang almost has “it”, the GT40 (or what ever Ford calls it) had an over abundance of “it”. The new Camaro doesn’t have “it”. No depth of character. Looks like a slapped together Chevy answer to Ford’s popular Mustang. (hey sound familiar…at least GM got it right nearly 40 years ago) I’m afraid GM is missing the boat.
Thanks Dennis, but I didnt do this. It was posted on the PY forum and I just dropped it over here to see what you all thought. Should have stated that huh?
That car looks much better than the concept Camaro. The hood scoops and side vents look good. The grille insert does look a little Bonneville-ish however. If the grille were a little more like the 60's bird beak, that car would capture the firebird of the 60's and 70's both! Especially if the tail lights resembled the first generation style. Dave
