This question relates to a 69 Firebird. What actually makes a car a "matching numbers" car. Does this require the car to have the original engine or just the correct block code/head code/etc for that particular model?
I believe the VIN is stamped on both the engine and trans. Read the Technical Information under the 1969 Pontiac Firebird Page for more info on where to look on your transmission. Here is info on the motor. http://firstgenfirebird.org/firebird/1969/id_numbers.html
what differs a 350 convertable to a 400HO convertable? I realize there are a few parts and pieces here and there but overall what are all the total differnces? can this be easliy transfored? can anyone answer that?
