Although SpeedVision doesn't think it important enough to show on TV, the 69' Trans-Am went for $99K tonight. Believe it was an automatic Ram Air 3 car. Isn't this about double what the one last year brought?

I have heard one of the 2 '69 T/A's up for bid at BJ is a rebody. Is that the one?

The one that sold tonight was a Ram-Air 4/ Auto that had an SR block. It did not say what condition the car is in. The other TA that is to be sold is a Ram-Air 3/ Auto that has only 30 miles on a complete correct restoration. It should/could bring more than the Ram-Air 4 did tonight.

Rob, I haven't looked yet, but do you happen to know (or does anyone) when that one is scheduled to cross the block? I'm sure I'll catch mention of it after the fact... as uausal... but if I can, I'd like to catch it...

I have a friend that's a bidder at the auction and he said that the 99K TA wasn't anything special(as far as TA's go). Auto on column and patched quarters.

According to the BJ site: The next 69 TA will be sold Friday sometime. I would guess late afternoon or early evening. Not sure if it will be televised though.

I know I am a little biased. But again feel these birds dont get the respect they deserve.

I just don't see many, rare birds indeed.
