Howdy Guys!

Well, I've almost completed my engine rebuild/engine compartment cleanup and wanted to post a before-after photo combo but when I used the image icon and then look at it in preview post, all I get is the little box with the red x in it. I'm using photobucket as my photo host. Do you have any suggestions?

With Photobucket, just copy the address info directly from the Photobucket IMG box under the posted picture into the forum.
For example: (ignore the XX's)

This is the before and the almost finished photo of my engine rebuild. We also replaced the underhood harnesses, painted everything and basically cleaned up a bunch of crap left over by the previous owner. (disregard the ratchet on the manifold, I'm removing it before putting the hood on the car!!)

These are a little small, I'll resize them when I get home tonight.

If you want to get rid of that ugly upper raditor hose, go to CarQuest and ask for the upper hose for a 1972 GTO. It will match your water outlet, but you will have to trim about 8" from the end of the hose where it connects to the radiator inlet.

Unless, of course, YOU don't think it's ugly.

Actually, I've got a new water neck on order and the hose will be changed out when it comes in. I'm going to use another of the braided hoses.

That is a good looking motor Jerry... good job. Is that a Rodney Red radiator?

Yes, I got the Rodney Red. While we were setting the carb, we just had the radiator filled with water so that we could dump the contents right after and it held at 175 the whole time and that was without the shroud on it. Darned thing took 5 gals to fill it though!

Looks really good! Can't wait to see mine when it's done....again. LOL

Just waiting on a few minor parts now.....but can't move forward until they arrive! Hard to close up the motor without a cam or lifters....

Looks great! wish I had an engine compartment to detail. My car is in so many parts it is stored in at least 3 rooms
