is that it's mid-March and still cold as heck for most of us. Our birds are sitting in the garage with all the winter projects completed and just waiting to drive BUT IT'S TOO FREAKIN COLD OUT. You southern folks wouldn't understand. That's why so many people here are so ornery. When the weather gets nicer, the mood around here will improve.
I DO understand ,afterall I used to live in Sweden! BUT I did drive my convertible with top down during winter , not while snowing , but after the snow fall...top down , windows up ,heater going full blast! Skies in pass seat leaning up in the wind! LOL
but here its 84 today...30% chance of rain ,but sunny!! :p
Well, part of the problem is someone is going around and vandalizing our ratings. I've got it narrowed down but I hesitate to let the cat out of the bag because I'm afraid what you guys might do. You may attack the poor slob! Instead of blurting out the name I could give clues. Like the number 699.
The trans is repaired, but not back in yet. The midplate not's fab'd. Pinion seal needs replacing. Seats, console, r/r window regulator is out. No mirrors. Shaker scoop not solidly mounted. Same with front park lamps. Lower radiator hose drip. Remote oil line drip. Q-jet build not even started. Have to wire altenator correctly so there is no power to it with master switch turned off.
Sure i'll find more this weekend And to think i was going to have the paint stripped by now...
My winter projects were completed last summer and fall...I'm pretty lucky in that the body work and paint are completed...The rubbing out and polishing were done last fall...The only things left to do this spring and summer are: purchasing and installing a headliner and trim, cleaning up and detailing the interior, installing a radio and speakers which is really not that important as I'd rather listen to the motor anyway, checking all bolts underneath the car for tightness, drilling and installing bolts for the frame connectors, lowering the front end along with an alignment, possibly having the rear end gears set up, purchasing and installing a hood tach, fastening the lower windshield moulding, troubleshooting and repairing lighting wiring...And lastly, if money permits, all new rubber and wheels.
