I just saw one just like it in driver condition cruise by me in the other direction just yesterday... I couldn't turn around right then and was on my way to pick up my son anyway...

The color is Hummer H-2 2005 bronze when matched to the computer is a match to 68 auttum bronze but with todays type of paint

Every show I go more people look at the color and
stare at the motor They just can't beleve it's a
quadrajet 4 on a six with a drop top with AC!

Bjorn, I think the red paint on the letters is mostly on advertising photos or certain older models (like the Banshee).

Every completely stock OHC I've seen has been monochrome, usually faded to green... albiet I've only seen a dozen or so... some in salvage yards.

My 38,000 mile '66 Sprint has and always had red lettering and box. I had another '66 engine that also had red lettering and box. I think it was just a cost cutting move to do away with it, once shoppers weren't looking at something brand new.

I'm jealous - I'm just hoping to be able to take mine around the block later this summer.
