After searching for a while i finally pulled the trigger today on a 69 Convertible. Its a 350 car with numbers matching engine. Just wanted to share my excitement..cant wait to pick it up. Now i have to sell the 69 project ive been working on....
Thanks for the compliments. Im guessing i will be spending a lot more time here now. As we all know, buying them is just the beginning. But..thats part of what makes em so fun.
Looks nice. How much did it lighten the wallet if you don't mind the asking.

Sprech... Before i spill the beans on what i paid, you guys tell me what you think its worth. Numbers matching car. Im the 3rd owner. Comes with original paperwork. Car is completely solid..stripped down and painted last year. However its not a frame off resto car. Engine and tranny were rebuilt 3 years ago. (350 Engine/350 tranny) So, tell me what ya think its worth. Youll either make me feel real good or real bad.
Well I am finishing up my 69' convertible and here is what I think. I am the 3rd owner with a NOM 350 / TH-350 combo and power top, deluxe interior, power disc brakes, trunk release, and power steering. I did a ground up resto, new everything, and have right at $25K and 2years in mine. It took longer and cost more than I planned for but I think it is worth it. I believe prices are inching up on our Birds, especially drop-tops so I think if you bought it in that $15-$20K range you did fine.

Two chickens are better than one!
As to why sell the other??... 2 reasons... room in the garage (already have a 67 Camaro plus the project 69 Firebird..this car makes 3 and i havent got room) and of course.... Cash.
Yeah guess its not necessarily a bad problem to have. But the project has gotta go. Knowing me and my obsession to have everything "just right" with cars this new one will keep me busy with tinkering for some time to come.
Ron it is a Chrysler color PR-4. I wanted Red-Red and not Red-Orange. 69' Carousel Red is more orange and although it is a beautiful color it just wasn't what I wanted.
that looks like my red car too, mine is single stage PPG "Concept" DCC 73788 Red, mine look more RED in my online shot that actual...its more like PonchoMans
