Took fender emblem from '61 Tempest and mounted it to new flat top chrome air cleaner. Showed it to "local gang", thought I'd give y'all a look at......

I like your oven thermometer. I bought one of those a couple of years back from Jegs and lost it somewhere in my garage and I can't bring myself to buy another.

Nice vintage emblem! And the red control arms are killer!

I wish I would have seen this a few months ago. I bought a 14" Edelbrock air cleaner w/ signature to match the valve covers. If I had seen this I would have gotten one without and set an emblem into it like you have.
Maybe in the future.

That engine looks exactly like the one in my TA that I yanked and put back to stock looking. Right down to the valve covers. Even the air conditioner housing was removed the same way! Since I'm just finishing up the last AC line today I wanted to post a pic, before and after. In the before pic the heads are not red because I took it after I took the red 6X's off and added the 62's that I painted blue after rebuilding.
