I have been a pontiac fan all my life. But,I went to a local all mopar show and now its time to sell my two 1969 pontiac firebirds. I ended up buying two 1970 cuda project cars at their swap meet. So its bye bye pontiac's its been fun. Its funny how the pontiac values are so low and the mopar values are going up like crazy. So,I thought its was time for the firebirds to open their wings and let them go.
Sorry to hear about the birds, but I've loved MOPARS since before i could talk. It's not about the money though... well, except for actually owning one. I've got my eye on a pair of rusty '63 town panels w/ titles
Found a '70 Challenger SE 383 for sale today, $6500, runs and drives, needs restoration including floor pans, quarter skins, fenders and roof repair. I have the # if anyone is interested.
Vikki 1969 Goldenrod Yellow / black 400 convertible numbers matching
Im going to sell both 1969 hardtop firebirds. there complete done cars.Im open for offers. I have alot of extra parts for them also like doors, fenders, hoods, interior parts to much to list. Later on down the road. I will get a convertible firebird. But right now its like you cant give the firebirds away. my brother has a couple 1969 camaros and there pulling in top dollar for junk cars that need everything. Its just crazy.
what you want for the birds?sounds like you need to go with the "in"crowd.as for me;i will buy and drive what i like.i may be one of the last "free thinkers "left out there.
Maybe somebody has gotten "Gold Rush Fever". The real value of an automobile is found in the owners heart. I know people who drive $2500 hunks of junk but they love them. Think I will hold onto what I love, my 69' Bird. As for 69' TA man you gotta do what you gotta do but I would hang on to at least one Pontiac. Hindsight is 20-20 and someday you may look back and wish you had. Good luck.
I look at it this way. You can pick up most firebirds all day long for cheap. But its getting to the point that you cant touch a early mopar or a camaro with out a gold mine hidden in your back yard. I will always like the firebirds but why keep them when you can replace them cheap.Thats like keeping all your five dollar bills hoping one day it will be worth more then your fifty dollar bills someday it may. But,I think there will have to be no more mopars or camaros left before that happpens. If,I owned 2 1969 trans ams then it would be a different story. At the January 2006 Barret-Jackson auction there was a cuda that sold for $2.16 million dollars it was the highest price ever paid for a muscle car. No its not about the money it the thought later on down the road that I will kick myself in the butt saying to my kids.I should of bought a mopar when I was younger. But,I was hung up on firebirds. Thats why Im selling my firebirds and I will replace them later on down the road while there still selling for cheap.
This guy changes his name and his location but he has the same act. He lays this whole story out to snag someone in on his lies. Why not say you have a TA vert like the last time? Decided to use a more believeable story this time?
Your might be missing a point. Because Firebirds sell for less, so do their parts. Makes it so the average joe can afford to rebuild one. Hope you have the gold to fix up and maintain those MOPAR's.
I also chose Firebirds because I try not to follow the herds

I had to sell it. 1980 Turbo Trans Am 1970 Mustang fastback, 351C 4Bbl, auto 1988 Mustang GT, 5 speed 1983 F-150 4x4, built 302 1994 Chevy K2500 HD 4x4, 454 TBI
One of the reason firebirds are selling for so cheap is that most people that own them are anal. Im not saying all firebird owners are but most seem to be. They either want the car for dirt cheap or they dont want it because it needs work. Thats just one thing that I noticed about these cars and with a market like that the prices will never go up much. Thats why a 1969 camaro thats pretty much the same body style of the 1969 firebird is worth 4 times more.

And it doesn't help with people like you, Dave, trying to rip off money out of the hobby. You and your two -done- cars. For sale and imaginary. You must like us anals because you keep coming back here with a new scam.
Im not trying to be rude but it people like fbody69 that keeping the prices of our firebirds down. Hes one of those anals. I have been talking about. I'll bet $25 he thinks hes a firebird know it all too. I have delt with his kind for many years. Thanks for your time. But our firebirds will never been worth much with guys like him in our hobby. HES GIVING FIREBIRD OWNERS A BAD NAME!
Fbody69,I'll bet your known to be the guy that like to give people crap on this site. When you find out they have something you want or dont have it. THATS WHAT YOU CALL A TRUE ANAL PERSON OR BAD BUSINESS FOR THE HOBBY!
GOOD LUCK TO THE REST OF THE GROUP AND I HOPE YOU CAN WEED OUT THE ANALS SO YOUR CARS COLLECT VALUE! UNTIL THEN ITS ON TO MOPARS FOR ME. BUT THERE WILL ALWAYS BE A SPOT IN MY HEART FOR THE EARLY BIRDS. SEE YOU LATER!
And check out his 'barn find' for $1000 that's all done now, yah right. He told me this story when he was Pontiac10th, Dave. We may have just stumbled onto the reason that the Camaros and Cudas are so expensive; The guys selling air are racking the prices up. You buy three fake ones and when you finally get the forth one, that is real, you have to charge 4 times as much when you sell it. Thank heaven for PHS.
GIVE IT UP! OUR FIREBIRDS ARE NOT GOING TO BE WORTH MUCH WITH PEOPLE LIKE FBODY69 IN THE HOBBY. OR SHOULD I SAY THE ANAL OR JEALOUS. GOOD LUCK GROUP YOU JUST FOUND OUT WHY THE VALUE OF OUR CARS ARE SO LOW = ITS PEOPLE LIKE FBODY69 THEIR GIVEN THE FIREBIRDS A BAD NAME!
Yah, that's why you need to keep changing your name, address..... Lying about what cars you have and trying to sell them here... I think you have made that quite obvious now. I have succeeded again in pointing out a scam. I'm glad my fellow members will not get sucked in. See ya!
GO WASH YOUR CAR CRY BABY! WHAT THE TRUTH HURTS THAT YOUR A ANAL LITTLE MAN? ITS PEOPLE LIKE YOU THAT ARE BAD FOR THE PONTIAC RESTORATION HOBBY! I HOPE THE REST OF THE GROUP CAN SEE THREW FBODY69 CRAP! OR SHOULD I SAY CAPTAIN ANAL
If you want to give up your FGFs and spend your cash on the Mopar craze then thats fine, but we FGF owners really don't need to hear about your reasoning or motivation. Sell your birds and move on to a Mopar website.
'68 428 HO M3 Monster, 4-on-the-floor! Need I say more?
He's got photos and vins. He's even got pictures of parts if you ask. We all know how easy it is to get them. He might even sell you one or two things on the level. The only point here is that he has been caught more than once trying to sell things he doesn't have. Now he has an assumed name and a different address. I can't see how anyone could be up to good using a wrong name and address and talking about selling us cars and parts.
