A fun loving group in Houston, TX dedicated to 1967-1969 (First-Generation) Firebirds. No fees, no dues, no obligations, no set 'formal' meetings. We do meet several times a year (different places), organize cruises in and out of town, and have some "monster garages" for group members.

Y'all need to do something about your weather...if the heat and humidity aren't enough to clobber a northerner, ya gotta toss a hurricane in there too...
Here's hoping Emily goes somewhere else, so I can make my trip!

Emily is done....still some rain in the foircast ,but last two days w 30-40% rain has had very little of it...looks good for saturday...30%...maybe we`ll have to put the top up at some point?
I think I can speak for the rest of the group and say we were all very glad to meet you in person and impressed you made the long trip up to hang out with us. Maybe next time we will have a few more cars there. Thanx again Vikki!
Kel
Oh, btw, I did calculate that trip of yours.........83.529 mph, not to shabby
Vikki, nice to finally meet you...long drive for you , I`m glad you think it was worth it! As Kel says ,"next" time we should have more cars, this was the lowest no of cars we`ve had since our absolutely first meet when it was me and Carl with cars and Craig with his car pictures! lol
When is the next meeting Bjorn? I'd love to come up there and meet you all finally. I was originally in the Seattle area and only got to chat with you guys through the computer.
John
To err is human. To really foul things up takes a computer.

John, yes I recall talking to you long ago... We have no set meetings...we have an internal email list and contact usually every week...some of us meet up for Saturday evening dinners (cars are nice ,but the people in this group are the best part), if good weather, in our classic cars, if bad weather in our regular drivers...we typically try to organize meetings a week or so in advance..it could be "monster garage", where we get together , help out working on a car, or a cruise...we typically do these short (couple of hours) cruises a few times a year...we also cruise out to "Cruising the Coast" in Gulfport , ms first week of Oct yearly...springtime , a "Blue bonnet cruise" when flowers are out, along country roads... best for you would become part of our email list...then you`ll know whats going on.. for this contact Carl Matthews at email : vise27@gmail.com he should be able to add you to the list....we stated out about 15 years ago with only first gen firebirds, but over the years some of us have added other cars and /or sold and bought others, so is not 100% FGF anymore...its a mix , but all good people, driving neat cars is just an added plus!
btw, if you want to email me...its bsefeldt@mhinc.com or cell 832-309-0863
