One of the headliner kits I bought had some good instructions with it. I have done a dozen this way and it always turns out good. If you have the old one it will save you some time. If not you are going to have to put it in once for measurements. I'm going to assume you have the old one. I'm also going to assume you have the old one out. The most important step is getting the front right. Match the position of the front hold-downs with the old headliner. Make sure they are exactly the same distance from the bow loops. Install all the bows in the loops. Wrap the material around the hold downs, install it in place and put the screws in. Install the bows in the holes. Snap in the middle one. Estimate where the rear hold downs should be and trim material. Make sure you make it as tight as you can and still get the clips to snap in the holes. Wrap material around rear hold downs and snap them in. Get your 3m spray adhesive or you can use the brush-on type. Apply the glue to the side edges after you have trimmed them. Use your side moldings to hold the material while the glue is drying. Try to stretch as many of the wrinkles out when you do the sides. Over time some of the wrinkles will come out. A few small wrinkles is ok. I wrote this from memory so I'm sure I left a few things out. At least it's a start to get you thinking in the right direction. Caution; Wear a hat so you don't pull all your hair out! Not much fun and it's a pain in the neck to boot!
