Did early Firebirds ever come with an indash tach? I have seen a bird with what looked like camaro-type console gauges in the GM film we got from Yellowbird.
Yep. The cars with the stepped gages had the tach in the dash. They are selling a repro kits for this now. Now, this is for 69 only. If you want a tach in the dash for 67-68 you can modify to accept the Camaro in-dash tach.
Remember, a hood tach was the Firebird option for 67 and 68. It was a Pontiac styling cue. Camaros had tachs in the dash.
