I have recently started to attack my 68 again and was looking through the site for info . I just realized your from tampa. I currently live in zhills but have lived in the area all my life . I had a 68 when I was 18 and kept it for around 10 years but when I had to rely on it as a daily driver it didn't work out . Now I have started again but this time it's an extra car . Where do you recommend getting floor patch panels
. are there any locals with parts around here? what shows or events do you go to ? I have been to the zhills swap and to sumnter co . but havent had alot of luck .

I have been out of the loop for awhile and have not gotten back into the swing of things after moving here three years ago. My Bird still sits in my garage waiting for me to work on it. About half way in savings to do what I want to the engine and sure I would be able to answer where next year.

There are several people from Tampa on here so they may be better at answering.

I saw Tarpon Springs had downtown shut down last weekend for their car show but never made it back through. Once I get mine back on the road I will be more active in the area visiting these with my Bird.

ILL be going to school at the university of Tampa in a couple of days and though my car wont be down there nor ready...it would be great to meet some guys with some....id be happy to try and throw something together for a bunch of us to meet up.

Im in Orlando right now for school, and my 'Bird is in West Palm, but I wouldnt mind driving to Tampa for some car shows. I just need to finish my car.

there's a national parts depot beside I-75 ABOUT an hour north from Lakeland,they would have what you need.

Hey I am new here and just got my bird about 2 months ago, I live in St Pete but work in South Tampa I am an Army recruiter here and also for UT. It would be great to meet up with some other people here. I don't know many people so would be a great idea!! My office is right off Dale Mabry about a mile north of Gandy in the Evening its pretty empty we could start a meet there? Just tring to get things out there?
