Does anybody know how many 69's came with a front bench seat? I recently picked up a really clean car with a front bench. Thought it was a great option, have all the original paperwork showing it was factory installed. Just wondering how rare. Never seen one at any of the shows

I'm not sure of the numbers produced, but I know it is a very hard to find option! Rare?, Yes, I'd say so...

For anybody interested, John at Generation-1 Firebird Registry was a great help.
He estimates that there were only (5) cars produced for all (3) years with a bench seat.
If anybody has any additional information it would be greatly appreciated

There has to be a lot more than (5) made! I have seen more than that on the internet and in person!
I do not think many people would fake this option, as much as other options.(400,posi,4spd,ralley gauges,etc)Anyone else agree with me?
