Hi Guys!

I know this has been discussed (cussed?) more than once, but I can't find anything in the search mode. What I'm looking for is the website for the company that is selling the repro RA long branch manifolds.

Thanks!

Jerry

Let's see if we can turn this simple request post into a five-page marathon like most of the others.

Thanks for the quick replies! One other question, who makes the oil filter adapter for use with the long branch manifolds?

It's not just the oil filter adapter thats your concern, you may need the oil filter housing too. And it's out of production = ebay/junkyard.

Here was my shopping list from RARE.

JM's right, make sure you have the 90 degree and not the 120 degree housing.

Get the NEW adapter itself from RA at $59. Amazing what some people will pay for old junk...13 bids and at about $140!!

I always check what an item is WORTH before bidding...set my limit.

Thanks for the heads up. Next time I have the car up on a lift I'll take a look at all this stuff and see what housing is on the car.

Jerry,

Johnny has good, very recent experience in this whole swap-out. I noticed they offer two different filter adapters, short and long. OF-2 was the one RARE told Johnny he needed.

I'm ordering the exact same kit Johnny did for my job this winter. Then I'll fly him and his wife here to Nashville for an all-expense-paid weekend to party and install the set.

OF-2 is correct according to my invoice as well. If ya invite JM and wifey over you'll never get that lube n filter job done!
