I took a picture of my 68 4spd Reverse Bracket Assembly before I put the crossmember back in yesterday. This is with the factory Hurst Shifter. There was discussion about this a long while ago and I think it was Doug & Nash that wanted to see a picture of it. So here it is.

That is nicely detailed. I did mine much the same but been doing the body for months and haven't looked under there to admire it for awhile

That reverse light sw. setup is entirely differend from mine. I have the "rotary" style switch which I had to clean and restore as they wanted $55 for one.

Yes that's very clean looking.
What's the other hole/mount just forward from the switch for ?

Tom, thats a sweet pic, thanks much. My 4-speed didn't look that clean even after the rebuild this past Spring.

A previous owner obviously took that particular bracket off my Muncie. Looks like a simple push-switch that gets activated by the rod itself?

If anyone sees one pop up on Ebay or elsewhere let me knw.

Doug, the other hole/mount is for the switch if it was a 6cylinder car. The bracket is stamped 6cyl by the front hole and 8cyl by the rear hole.

Doug, I thought you had posted a month or two back that all was well with your reverse light system? Did you find a different bracket than Toms?

Yes I did but I don't have that 6 cyl. mount on my trans.
and I was wondering what it was for ?
