I may get to go to the SEMA show for one day. Does anyone have any suggestions as to which booths I should check out? The show is so big, there is no way to see everything in one day.
You have to be in the auto business or (in my case) be a member of the media. I work for a newspaper and the biz dept said they'll get me a media pass to get in. If you are in the auto biz, sales, parts, publishing, etc., you can go to their website and get pre-certified for a pass.
I don't think they check that close. I have friends with small body shops that attend infrequently. I know some of these weren't registered businesses, but they had a name and address. That may be all you really need.
I'm going and had to register well in advance. They wanted a business card, and proof of employment with my company. About 3 weeks later I received my paperwork to get in.
It's my first time, and even though I am there on business, it's going to be cool to check out all the "fun" stuff.
