I have a 1967 Firebird Convertable, the problem I have, on the hood is the 350 emblem and the car also has the 350 engine in it. I can not find anywhere any notes or makes of this Pontiac 350 engine installed in 1967, only 68. What does this mean?

confused Well you either have a 68, or someone has replaced the motor and emblems. You will need to check the VIN to determine the year you have. It is easy to make a 68 look like a 67. Let us know what you find out.

What is VIN #?
How do you know (aside from 350 emblems and possibly someone telling you) That the engine is a 350?
It is a 326 with look cool 350 emblems on hood, or the hood came off a 68 bird..

There are several possibilities.

Si Vis Pacem Parabellum

1967 Starlight black PMD Engineering 400 Auto
1968 Alpine Blue 400 4 speed
1968 Verdoro Green 400 HO 4 speed
2013 1LE 2SS/RS Inferno Orange Camaro.

I had the same question about my 67 coupe when IO bought it. The guy I bought it from had yanked the motor, but showed it to me and it was a 350 that he pulled. Never knew if it was the original or not. I also had 350 emblems on the hood. I had asked the same question about my car. Everyone here on the site was so helpfull telling me that the 350 could not have come in the 67. I was finally convinced when I sent away to the historic society for the answer. Mine came with the 326. So it is a good possibilty that someone replaced your motor with a 350 and put 350 emblem on the hood. Someone was just probaly to show what they had under the hood. According to the print out I recieved the only 8's that came in a 67 were the 326's and 400.

Did you just recently purchase the car from eBay? There was a 67 convertible that a guy down in Florida was selling that he said had a 350 engine in it. I emailed him a few times if it was the original motor, but I never heard back form him. Just curious if it was the same one or not.
