I thought the inners were exactly the same but they have to be trimed in the front to match. My new Camaro RH inner was an exact copy of my rusted out original.
I just put the old over the new, scribed a line at the front inner edge and cut accordingly.

That is correct. I recieved a new inner from CI (supposed to be for the FB), and it in fact was a camaro inner. I too had to cut a small portion off the front of it. Other than that identical.
So if I understand this correctly: A camaro inner fender will fit a bird with a little triming, but a firebird inner fender will not fit a camaro. I guess I better go change my Ebay listing. Thanks for the info guys! TRAVIS

You can trim a Camaro inner to fit a Bird but no matter how much trimming you do they will not work for the 'Maro. Seems like there should be enough Firebird owners to buy these parts anyway.

Same here, just installed a passenger inner fender from CI also. Same as my original but had to trim the front part as noted above. actually I was surprised about how easy it fit. And to go along with a previous post question I had, yes, I had to remove the fender to install it. I don't know how I could have put it in there otherwise.
