Will be installing the cardboard divider and jute pad soon. I'm assuming I just place the pad first, lay the cardboard piece in place over that, then the seat holds it all in place? Do I need to glue it or anything?
I purchased a cardboard piece with the jute padding already attached. Having a converitble, I had to trim off appr. 1" at each side to make it fit. I didn't glue it, but I suspect the original was (there are pieces of old cardbord stuck to the sheet metal reinforcement behind the seat).
the jute padding goes against the sheetmetal. it was attached with a dab of black adhesive. cant tell you what kind as i dont know but this is how my pad cam out of my car. i just pulled it out last saturday.
