This paper is found stuffed in rear seat of my 68'. It has my vin #, cowl tag #,trim option and a list from 1- 120. I've kept this copy for 17 years, along with my firebird, and always wondered if there is some more information i can learn from it. Thanks
My friend, you have kept the information "mother load". That piece of paper told the assembly workers everything to put on your car. Others can help decipher it, but you have it all!!!
I wish I could have found mine.

This is true, this will tell you most everything that your car was at least ordered with, and built with as far as options etc...
Go to John's site and on this page http://firstgenfirebird.org/registry/Documents.mv?Broadcast (or you go into the regestery form, then in the first line of instructions click on the "Body Broadcast sheet" and this will take you to an on-line version of a Broadcast sheet with all the boxes blank.) Enter the number or letter on your sheet to the same number bos, then you click on the "?" tab below each box to see the options that match what is filled in on your coupy, and will get a breakdown of all the option codes you have!
And make sure if you have anything that is not on the list that you contact John so he can add this documented information!
Thanks salman38 and 1stgenbirdman for your information. Of course my wife is not to excited, because it means i've been hanging out in the garage salivating over my bird again. lol . Like looking at it for the first time. I'll post my info as quickly as possible.
Body broadcast copy description is awesome. Went though it all. Looks like i did get lucky 17 years ago. My firebird is a 68 convertible and still has the original 400 wz motor and muncie 4-speed, hurst shifter. 4 wheel drum brakes, no a/c. No longer the verdoro green color but still color behind gas door. Custom trim package, black interior and top. Came from Lordstown, Ohio # 900th built in 4th week of september. Approx 14 years ago and after 113,000 miles, I decided to beef up engine .30 over, trw forged pistons, solid cam and lifters. I can still remember those crazy teenage days, happy i survived and the car did too. Next is PHS order. Thanks again guys.
Excellent! Thanks for telling us more about your car! We always love to hear more... so when you get your PHS History, and find out more of the options like mabey the lighting group, or rally gauges etc... let us know!
Glad you kept her, and have that Firebird enthusiasm re-ignited! (even if the wife is not so enthused, she'll like cruising in it next summer!)
Inside joke, Bjorn and I may be a few of the only guys who love the Verdoro Green! That's what I was looking for when I was looking for my car. My NEXT one will be Verdoro and a 4 speed! Lol...
Yep, my car was another original Verdoro Green. But I have a parchment interior which goes with anything so my car AIN'T gonna be green when I done. Sorry!
