Is that a finger guard for an OHC radiator?
I've never seen one unbolted or in person so i don't know, but it looks like it could be. If so, I would like to own it.

scott,i will do some research and see if i can see if it is a 6 cyl guard.that is what i thought it was cause it looks like a fan shroud bracket but alot wider

I think it's it's the finger guard.

No prob. It took me aback when I saw it on the 6 cyl car.

Take a good look at that green car again $100,000 for the restoration. Seriously. It IS ultra-clean though. Wow.

Pontiac actually had an 'exclusive' option that was called - the ten finger guard - which as the name describes guarded ALL ten fingers (if only ONE mechanic was involved)....

In fact, if it's used properly, it will guard eight fingers and two thumbs per person, at any given time.

Its a fanny plate/batt packer for a '69er.
