Would this be a good combo engine for a rebuild to get some performance out of? Original 350 in my bird has had so many bolts broken and threads striped out from previous owner that I spent forever fixing and helicoilin that I don't think I want to spend the time rebuilding it. plus am scared to go into a full dissasymbley as to what else I might find wrong internally. Have this complete virgin 1968 YC 400 2bbl engine sitting around the garage and am debating on building this instead. What I would like to do is get something as close to ram air specs as possible, but was wondering if heads would be worth useing or should I look for a better set of heads that could just bolt right on. Any ideas on possable combos that I could get some injoyable street power for around a $3000 range.
69 firebird 350 ho 4spd someday I'll get this thing on the road again
